Andy Murray coaching Emma Raducanu in the future would be 'very surprising', Tim Henman has told talkSPORT.
The three-time grand slam winner had been tipped to one day coach the 18-year-old, who herself just won her first grand slam.
Raducanu will get back on the court at Indian Wells
The 2021 US Open winner is currently searching for a new coach having split from Andrew Richardson shortly after winning in New York.
Richardson had only been in the role since July after replacing Nigel Sears, but now Raducanu is looking for someone with more tour level experience.
It will be a job in high demand to work with someone of the brightest talents in the game and the potential to be a serial grand slam winner.
While Murray has been linked in various reports, Henman admitted he doesn't see it happening.

He told talkSPORT: "Is there anyone who isn't going to coach Raducanu? I think it would be quicker to list the people who aren't going to coach her.
"I'd be surprised if Andy did that. First and foremost, he's got a lot of tennis left in him. When you see his hunger, desire and motivation to come back with a metal hip, I'd like to think he has a good few years left on the match court before he starts thinking about alternative careers.
"I'd be very surprised if I saw Andy coaching Raducanu."
Henman spoke to talkSPORT.com about Murray and Raducanu
Raducanu is being helped at Indian Wells by former British No.1 Jeremy Bates, who also coaches fellow Brit Katie Boulter.
On her coaching search, Henman added: "First and foremost, Jeremy is out there with his role with Katie Boulter and is involved in British women's tennis.
"It's great he can be there to support. If she's got any questions around her matches or be there to organise matches.
Murray will also be playing at Indian Wells
"It's a familiar face and her coaching situation I'm sure will get addressed at the end of the year.
"She will have time, she's got a nice schedule now with three or four tournaments before the end of the year.
"November and December will be time for her to reflect, but then plan for the future.
"In terms of who that coach might be, I've got absolutely no idea. She needs to sit down and see who's available.
"I'm sure there will be lots of interest in the job and hopefully she can put someone in place ready to help her build on the enormous success of the latter part of this year."
